General conditions

The conditions that govern enrolment and attendance — fees, absences, insurance.

  1. Enrolment is accepted for a full school year (10 months), i.e. from September to June.
  2. The management may exceptionally accept enrolments for a minimum of 5 months (September to January, or February to June).
  3. A student may cancel their enrolment during the school year at the end of the first 5 months (31 January), by registered letter to the management sent before 15 January. No withdrawal, except in cases of force majeure, will be accepted after this date.
  4. The school does not offer a trial period.
  5. Tuition fees are set on an annual basis and are payable every month.
  6. A charge of Frs. 5.- will be applied for each reminder in the event of late payment of tuition fees.

  8. The Frs. 20.- registration fee covers administrative costs.
  9. Late enrolments do not give right to any reduction. However, the management will consider in each case the possibility of making up classes, or a flat-rate arrangement.
  10. The school will not refund missed classes. However, in cases of force majeure, serious accident and on presentation of a medical certificate, and in the event of permanent departure from Switzerland, a cancellation request may be submitted to the management.
  11. During the year, no withdrawal for lack of motivation or weariness will be accepted.
  12. The school does not cover the risks of illness and accident. Students must therefore insure themselves against these risks. Students are also advised to take out personal liability insurance.
  13. The management accepts no responsibility for items forgotten, swapped or stolen at the school.
  14. Unless the student or their legal guardian states otherwise, the management reserves the right to use photographs or video filmed in class or during performances for its communications. No commercial use will be made of them.
